SWNA 25th Anniversary and Ice cream Social
I photographed the Southwest Neighborhood Associations 25th anniversary and ice cream social event, at the beginning of August. There were 315 people that attended, it was fun meeting everyone and photographing the event for them. You can view the photos here: http://naturebydesignphotography.pixieset.com/icecreamsocial/
You can visit the associations site HERE for more information.

Alex | Portrait Session
Last Friday I took one of my friends, a fellow YoungLife leader, out for a short portrait session. I had my first solo wedding on Saturday, and had rented a camera that I needed to practice with. He was a natural! Super photogenic, and relaxed. I had a lot of fun. Here are a few of my favorites from our time taking pictures!
Can't decide wich one I like more... Black and White or Color. Hmmm.. :)

Spring Styled Inspiration Photo Shoot | Mock Engagement
After months of planning a styled shoot, it finally came together in May! I haven't booked an official engagement session yet, and I wanted to be able to have some examples. I put out a model call, and got a great response! So happy this couple kept in contact and was able to model for me. They have been dating 2 years, and I think they did SO WELL modeling for me! Here are some of my favorites from the photo shoot!

Photograph of the Week - May 25, 2015
I hope everyone is having a safe, and relaxing Memorial Day. I just
wanted to stop and thank our service men and women for sacrificing so
much for us.
As many of you have seen on Facebook, my styled inspiration photo shoot went SO WELL. The couple were so great! So sweet too! Here is an image I just edited today! I am so in love with all these images :) I can't wait to show them all to you.

Getting Ready | Spring Styled Inspiration Photo Shoot | Mock Engagement
I am getting ready for my first styled inspiration photo shoot, happening on SUNDAY! I have spent months planning and figuring out what I actually want to do. I picked up some decorations I'm borrowing today, and I get to play with some jars, ribbon, wood, and burlap! I cannot wait to shoot on Sunday. Praying that the rain stays away Sunday evening, during the photo shoot. Can't wait to share my vision with you guys!

Photograph of the Week - May 11, 2015
This past weekend I got to go on a Backcountry Cooking Seminar through PSU. We got to cook some awesome food, and go on a small day hike. This is Mt. Hood looking towards the west. We camped on the East side of Mt.Hood. It was absolutely gorgeous over there! Warm, dry and sunny!

Song and Photograph of the Week - May 4, 2015
Things are coming together for the styled engagement photo shoot! Guys, I am so excited! Can't wait to share it all with you!
I'm almost done with my first year of sign language, and I have to sign a song for the class at the end of the term. I have hopefully picked, Feel Better by Nikki Lang. I am excited to translate it to ASL, it will be a fun song to sign. That is also the song of the week :)
I hiked to Elowah falls this past Saturday with my dog, Mocha. The weather was so nice, and all the parking along the Historic Highway was packed! Luckily I found a spot up front for the John B. Yeon Trailhead. I'm sharing a couple with you guys, I just can't help sharing my sweet dog :)
