Mandie was drawn to win my
300 Fan/Likes Mini Session giveaway back in July. In September I got to photograph her family! Though it rained for the first 5 minutes, they had a great attitude and we started the session in the rain! This bunch has some talented and crazy flexible kids. I had a blast with them, and I think I got some amazing pictures for them. Look for yourself!

Song and Photograph of the Week - July 21, 2014
Mini Session giveaway results are here! Mandie has been drawn to win my 300 fan Mini Session giveaway! Yay! Mandie contact me to schedule the session!
I really like some electronic pop music, and Tiesto is one of my favorites. The song, A Town Called Paradise is one of my favorites off the newest album (also named, A Town Called Paradise). Its just one of those songs that makes me want to dance! But, I don't dance so, I pretend and dance on the inside :)
I can't narrow the Photograph of the week down to just one image, so here are THREE!
The first one is from a family session I did on Friday. Scott and Shelby have a 6 mo old great dane puppy named Lincoln, you can see sneak peeks on Facebook. These two have great chemistry, and I'm so happy with the kissing shots I got. Makes me just want to say "Awwwwww." Does it do that to you? :) They are so cute! I am so glad they were okay with getting these shots, Scott even said during the shoot, "I just want to kiss her!" hah. So I let them ;)

This third one is from my first cake smash session with sweet, Maleah! She was my first newborn I shot last year, today. You can see those HERE. She has become such a feisty, gorgeous girl! She was kind of a slow eater, but still adorable! She was a little iffy about getting the icing and cake on her hands, by the end she was using the wooden 1 as a fork. And her faces were to die for, so hilarious :P

Leave the Night On by Sam Hunt is the song of the week. I think I heard it on the radio first, and had to look it up. I just think its a catchy tune, and its upbeat. AND its country, just a warning for any country haters :P
I've posted this image on Facebook already, but it is going to be the photograph of the week. As many of you know, I went to Bend, OR for the Fourth of July. During the 6 hours I had to kill (12-6pm) I went up to Mt. Bachelor and rode the ski lift up to the summit. Pretty proud of myself as I am scared of heights, and ski lifts are not the best for that. But sitting down, I did alright. It was worth it, I got to see this cool rainbow cloud. Yes... a rainbow CLOUD. Definitely a cool thing to capture! This image is 15 images stitched together in Photoshop!
