Wilson | Family

Back in October, I had the privileged of photographing this awesome family. I started babysitting their kids a while back, I had their daughter in my class of 2 year olds on Sundays. MY, has she grown! They were fun to work with, and I love that she wanted pictures done near all those trees. So beautiful. Hope you enjoy my favorites from this session.

Song and Photograph of the Week - November 10, 2014

I posted a couple weeks ago I took some pictures of my parents. Those were for our Christmas cards, I've been designing ours for the last 2 years. This year as always, I am making a few versions for my mom to pick from. But, these will be available to buy in my Etsy shop, if anyone wants some!

I'm surprised at how fast this year is going, it is already NOVEMBER 10TH! I am so thankful I get 3 weeks (or so) off of school for the holidays! It'll give me plenty of time to get things done before Christmas.

I had a midterm in my History of Rock Music class this past week. I got a 90%! Well one of the sections on the test was to match the song title to the artist, year and genre. One of my favorite songs that was on the test was, Bill Haley & His Comets – Shake, Rattle And Roll
This will be the song of the week :)

We will also look at an old image for the Photograph of the Week! This is from last November, and I love all the colors in it! So fally feeling :)

Krachinski | Family

Mandie was drawn to win my 300 Fan/Likes Mini Session giveaway back in July. In September I got to photograph her family! Though it rained for the first 5 minutes, they had a great attitude and we started the session in the rain! This bunch has some talented and crazy flexible kids. I had a blast with them, and I think I got some amazing pictures for them. Look for yourself!

Song and Photograph of the Week - October 27, 2014

Guess what?! One month until Thanksgiving, AND my birthday! As I've been saying, these months have been going by way too fast. If Thanksgiving is coming up, so is Christmas! I'm not ready!

I am taking a History of Rock Music class at PSU this term. We have finally gotten into the 50's and into real rock music. So, the song of the week is going to be an older one :) The Chords – Sh-Boom - Single Version

My mom has been asking me about getting pictures for her Christmas cards. So I made them stand in the cold (I wasn't that cold, they were just complaining haha) yesterday when it got all sunny and not so blustery! This is just one I got of them!

Song and Photograph of the Week - October 13, 2014

Middle of October already! Fall leaves are going to be gone soon, so if you're looking to get family portraits done inquire now! I only have a few spots available due to my crazy schedule! Family session information can be found HERE!

Song of the Week, another from my favorite band, Parachute! Parachute – What I Know
This song is a great example of my favorite sound. I love their voices! I hope you enjoy it too!

It was hard to pick an image for the Photograph of the Week. I shot a family session last night, and as I was driving home, a gorgeous fall sunset caught my eye. I had to stop and get a picture, the sky was on fire with gorgeous yellow, orange and pink clouds!

Song and Photograph of the Week - September 29, 2014

One more day of freedom! Fall term starts tomorrow for me with classes from 10-4pm with 10 minute passing breaks. My free time this term will be at a minimum with having something going on 6-7 days a week. Whoo!

This week's song of the week is Howard Shore – The Fellowship Reunited - feat. Sir James Galway, Viggo Mortensen And RenĂ©e Fleming
This song is from Lord of the Rings, and was found under the intense studying genre in Spotify. I thought it was fitting since school has started for everyone now :) You can get your study on now with some awesome music!

Photograph of the week! This one was taken last week on Monday (day before the first day of fall) at sunset. I do love fall sunsets, but I will miss summer :(

This is God's fall handiwork :) Pretty brilliant!

Song and Photograph of the Week - September 1, 2014

September already?! I am so glad I still have a WHOLE other MONTH till school starts! Starting later is more fun than getting out early, I think. Not excited fall is coming, I like summer the best. BUT for those of you that like getting fall portraits done, now is the time to start planning and booking sessions!

Happy Labor Day! Hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend. Ive been painting, cleaning my room, and school shopping!

Song of the week....hmmm I've been listening to American Dream a lot, but that was last weeks song of the week. Chandelier by Sia is really good. I listen to lyrics and not just badly sing them in the car. So I really like her lyrics, "I'm gonna live my life like tomorrow doesn't exist." Taking it out of the context of drinking, and thinking about actually living life.  I don't think people live like they don't have a tomorrow to do things, like say you're sorry, love on people, or tell people about Jesus. I've been reading Jefferson Bethke's book Jesus > Religion, and really like a quote from it, " if Jesus’ grace has radically collided with a heart, I believe that person will begin to align themselves with Jesus’ image, looking more like him every day." I think that pertains to living like theres no tomorrow, living as a walking image of Jesus every day, because you never know who is looking or doesn't have tomorrow to live. Just a thought!

The photograph of the week was taken on my phone, but I love what I painted (wasn't finished at this point)! 1 Corinthians 13:8
