One more day of freedom! Fall term starts tomorrow for me with classes from 10-4pm with 10 minute passing breaks. My free time this term will be at a minimum with having something going on 6-7 days a week. Whoo!
This week's song of the week is Howard Shore – The Fellowship Reunited - feat. Sir James Galway, Viggo Mortensen And RenĂ©e Fleming
This song is from Lord of the Rings, and was found under the intense studying genre in Spotify. I thought it was fitting since school has started for everyone now :) You can get your study on now with some awesome music!
Photograph of the week! This one was taken last week on Monday (day before the first day of fall) at sunset. I do love fall sunsets, but I will miss summer :(
This is God's fall handiwork :) Pretty brilliant!

Scott and Shelby | Family
I had the great opportunity to photograph a long time neighbor and family friend back in July! They had gotten a new great dane puppy, Lincoln. She has grown so much and so fast! I think they make a pretty cute family. They were a breeze to photograph, and might be my quickest session yet. We cranked out their session in 20 minutes! I thought we had gone at least an hour...nope! I block out up to 2 hours in case pets, children or clients need breaks, but Scott, Shelby and Lincoln rocked their session!
Song and Photograph of the Week - September 22, 2014
One more week and school officially starts for the year! I won't have any classes until the 30th, but regardless, I am excited to get this year over with :)
This past week was a tad different than I thought it was going to be. I ended up not going to Bend for a week. Instead, I went hiking, camped at Mallard Marsh near Bend at Hosmer Lake, and I also went to the Oregon Coast. My vacation is continuing tomorrow, as I go down to Crater Lake also!
More on my vacation as I get those images edited! In the meantime, song of the week. Meghan Trainor is one of my new favorite artists. Her music is very upbeat and fun. Dear Future Husband is a great song. It is a good guideline for any guy out there! Not to say that girls shouldn't do the same! Give it a listen :)
Photograph of the week, as you might have guessed is from my vacation week! This one is from Thursday morning. It rained all night for the one night I camped.....it was great -_____- not really, it was cold and windy. So, instead of eating in the rain in the morning, I packed up my stuff. Luckily I was up early enough to catch the sunrise!!! It was so pretty! Mt. Bachelor is on the left side of the image, I kind of cut off most of the mountain, because that's not where the sunrise was :P

Song and Photograph of the Week - September 15, 2014
Taking a break this week from song and photograph of the week. This is my vacation week. Plans have changed from going to Bend for a week, to going camping for one night over there, then coming back and going to Seaside! The family I was supposed to stay with had some medical issues come up, which I am still praying for their full recovery! Shorter out of town vacation, but I'm sure my dog and I will have a blast! I will be posting pictures later next week! Stay tuned, and have a great week!

Song and Photograph of the Week - September 8, 2014
5 more days until I am in Bend, Oregon. I am so excited! While I am there, I get to photograph the sweetest family, in exchange for them letting me stay with them. I honestly don't have much of plan of what I want to do yet. That is on my list of things to do this week. :)
Last week I saw the movie, If I Stay. I read the books, and was impressed how well they followed the story, not perfect, but when do movies stay true to the book?! Anyway, the song of the week is from the movie. It is a tie between 3 songs, Never Coming Down by Willamette Stone, and Suite No. 1 in G Major for Solo Cello, BWV 1007: Prelude, and Cello Concerto in A Minor, Op:33. I would recommend the movie though! Not sure about the second movie though, because the book.....SUCKED in a good way (kinda) just very frustrating. :P
For the photograph of the week we are throwing back to today in 2013. I shot this moon and planet (and star in the top left) last year today :) Love it!

Song and Photograph of the Week - September 1, 2014
September already?! I am so glad I still have a WHOLE other MONTH till school starts! Starting later is more fun than getting out early, I think. Not excited fall is coming, I like summer the best. BUT for those of you that like getting fall portraits done, now is the time to start planning and booking sessions!
Happy Labor Day! Hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend. Ive been painting, cleaning my room, and school shopping!
Song of the week....hmmm I've been listening to American Dream a lot, but that was last weeks song of the week. Chandelier by Sia is really good. I listen to lyrics and not just badly sing them in the car. So I really like her lyrics, "I'm gonna live my life like tomorrow doesn't exist." Taking it out of the context of drinking, and thinking about actually living life. I don't think people live like they don't have a tomorrow to do things, like say you're sorry, love on people, or tell people about Jesus. I've been reading Jefferson Bethke's book Jesus > Religion, and really like a quote from it, " if Jesus’ grace has radically collided with a heart, I believe that person will begin to align themselves with Jesus’ image, looking more like him every day." I think that pertains to living like theres no tomorrow, living as a walking image of Jesus every day, because you never know who is looking or doesn't have tomorrow to live. Just a thought!
The photograph of the week was taken on my phone, but I love what I painted (wasn't finished at this point)! 1 Corinthians 13:8
